Patient Details

This case is helpful for all those considering skin removal treatment. This patient is seen the day before his surgery, 8 day, 4 months and then 2.4 years later. The improvement in the appearance of his chest is evident as the older scars have begun to settle down (less red and raised) and his nipple-areola complex healing from the free graft technique has also improved. You can also appreciate that he isn’t the same as he was. He has worked to get in the best shape possible since his surgery—he has been motivated by his surgery. I love to see this because treatment of gynecomastia frees the patient from the gynecomastia burden and allows them to reach their full potential.

The trickiest part of advanced gynecomastia is selecting between skin removal or no skin removal. Obviously, it’s a shared decision making process between you and I. I promise you I will help you make the right decision.
