Patient Details

This young man suffered from gynecomastia. He is in great shape, and certainly he doesn’t look bad, but he was suffering from gynecomastia big time. He is seen here after gynecomastia surgery with tissue removal and liposuction. The contour is good, particularly in terms of the flattening of the puffy areola’s that can be seen on lateral view.He says he is “cured”. He no longer thinks about it and has no problem whatsoever taking off his shirt in public and he is no longer concerned about what other people would think about his chest.I noticed at the end of our meeting (when I was taking his post-operative photos), that he was putting on TWO shirts. I asked him why he was wearing two shirts when he told me he was cured. He look surprised and told me “I guess it’s a habit.”That’s one of the problems with recovering from gynecomastia – there are habits that you have developed and practiced for years that can be difficult to break.
