Patient Details

This is the result of bodybuilders gynecomastia treatment at the Austin Gynecomastia Center. Often my approach is different from my traditional treatment as there is not much subcutaneous fat that requires contouring to sculpt the best looking chest. This by no means that the case is smaller or less difficult. It may be smaller but it is much more difficult because the removal of bodybuilders' gynecomastia masses of hard, adherent glandular tissue requires meticulous dissection through a tiny incision. My goal is to remove ALL the gynecomastia tissue present (patient’s want it all gone and if it isn’t there it isn’t likely to regrow in the future).

Bodybuilders gynecomastia is typically associated with dense glandular masses that are well localized. You can feel the rock below. Removal is more complicated as it is more vascular which means a higher bleeding risk and hematoma risk (localized collection of blood). This won’t harm you other than interfere with the normal healing process which can negatively impact the appearance of your skin (wrinkling/creases/folds/bunching).

I often use a small penrose (rubber) drain when treating bodybuilders gynecomastia as this allows the evacuation of the small amount of blood immediately after treatment. It is removed the next day and the drain itself comes out a small part of the tiny incision at the bottom of the areola. After removal, healing is normal in the area where the drain was.

As always, managing your gynecomastia recovery is essential to the finest results. Invest and you will be rewarded with a masterful chest. Taking hormones, prohormones and other performance drugs will not likely result in recurrence of gynecomastia as this is very rare (particularly when I published my paper on the total removal of gynecomastia tissue some years back). Gynecomastia surgery is considered a one and done procedure at the Austin Gynecomastia Center in Austin, Texas.
