Day 1 after gynecomastia surgery photos show the “hockey stick” outline - the appearance of a masculine, muscular chest that is most desirable

This patient presented to the AGC with gynecomastia. Based on my Gynecomastia Zone Classification System, he has a fullness in Zones 1-3. My system is based on the best treatment of the male gynecomastia chest, so the result is masculine and defined. These photos show his pre-operative condition and post-treatment DAY 1. This is an early result for sure and more definition will show in the coming months as he is obviously swollen.

The pre-operative curves reveal the fullness in the lateral chest area. The upper curve also includes the pectoral/chest muscle. The “hockey stick” outline is noticeable right away. The lateral border of the chest muscle is linear, and the horizontal part is sharp and not breast-like. This is what makes for the appearance of a masculine/muscular chest that is most desirable. This new chest appearance is something that most of these patients have never seen before in their lives, and it’s quite interesting to observe their first reaction to seeing themselves in the mirror after treatment. It takes some getting used to. You can also appreciate the muscular movement now that all the gynecomastia has been removed and the chest appropriately contoured with liposuction.
